A summer palace of the Kasmanda Royal family, Kasmanda Lodge was built in 1836. The estate spread over 3 acres of pine forest and terraced gardens, commands a majestic view of the Himalayas and the plains. The palace is adorned with 'shikar' trophies from full mounted tigers and panthers to the tiny hispid hare.
