Palace Hotel (Bikaner House) was designed by Sir Swinton Jacob in 1893 for the minor Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner as a summer retreat. It was the hub of Mt. Abu's social life for decades. The palace is surrounded by acres of forest and beautifully laid gardens.
