Begin the tour with some of the images that epitomise India. The marble symphony of Shahjahan's Taj Mahal, the imperial elegance of Lutyens' New Delhi, the splendour of the desert city of Jaipur. Every city offers its unique blend of sights, sounds and experiences. From the opulence of the Mughal empire to the vibrant life of modern India. Proceed to the sculptural beauty of the temples at Khajuraho have made them a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the Chandela rulers in 9th and 10th century, the temples are widely regarded as being the pinnacle of north Indian temple architecture. Row upon row of gods and goddesses, dancers and maidens, warriors and beasts rise up to the sky, perfectly proportioned, to be viewed from ground level.

The wildlife expedition starts with Bandhavgarh, situated in the Vindya Hills, covering a core ares of 105 sq. kms and buffer area of 437 sq, kms. This became a National Park in 1968. And then Kanha National Park, one of the largest and best-managed parks in the country. Project Tiger was initiated in 1973, a concerted effort directed towards increasing the tiger population of the country by preserving its habitat. Today, a network of about 80 National Parks and 441 Sanctuaries, covering four per cent of its land area.
