Madhya Pradesh retains some of the most pristine environment in the country. Many of its towns and villages are dependant on narrow single track roads for contact with the outside world – which makes it a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for something more than overtly touristy circuits. Accomodation, though not luxurious, is comfortable. Ancient temples, forts, palaces, this itinerary has it all.
Cover the city of Indore famous for its temples, old palaces and gardens, Ujjain one of the holiest and oldest cities of India, Maheshwar is a temple town of great antiquity, Mandu, the city of joy, and Omkareshwar which derives its name from the sacred Hindu symbol of Om. The massive, nearly 3-km fort at Gwalior is a formidable structure richly embellished with carvings. Within it shelter some outstanding temples and palaces. It reveal the finest aspects of Rajput architecture. Also visit Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, known as the city of lakes.
Then tour moves on to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal as well as other jewels of a golden era, then Rajasthan which is replete with sprawling, stonefaced forts that, perched high on craggy hilltops, are a marvel of defensive building. Elaborate palaces and richly ornamented temples dot the towns and cities with an exuberance that celebrates the skilled hands of the craftsman.

Day 01 Arrive Delhi
On arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel.
Rest of day at leisure. (No vehicle at your disposal).
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 Delhi
Full day tour of Old and New Delhi, including cycle rickshaw ride.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03 Delhi - Agra
Morning drive to Agra (205 kms +/- 04h30m)
On arrival check in at hotel.
Afternoon visit Itmud-ud-Daulah Tomb.
Evening view Taj Mahal by sunset from Mehtab Bagh (garden) across Yamuna River.
Overnight in Agra.
Day 04 Agra
Morning visit Taj Mahal by sunrise.
Later visit Agra Fort
Afternoon visit Sikandra.
Later free to explore on own/ shopping.
Overnight in Agra.
Day 05 Agra - Jaipur
Drive to Fatehpur Sikri (36 kms, +/- 0h30m) for visits.
Later continue to Abhaneri (130 kms, +/- 02h30m) to visit Chand Baori Stepwell.
Thereafter proceed to Jaipur (95 kms, +/- 02h).
On arrival check in at hotel.
Rest of day at leisure. (Vehicle at your disposal).
Overnight in Jaipur
Day 06 Jaipur
Morning visit Amber Fort with Jeep/ Elephant Ride.
Afternoon proceed for city tour & Shopping.
Evening enjoy Bazaars, Cuisine & Crafts walk.
Followed by "Aarti" at a local temple.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 07 Jaipur - Delhi
Morning drive back to Delhi (250 kms, +/- 05h30m).
On arrival check in at hotel.
Rest of day at leisure. (No vehicle at your disposal).
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 08 Depart Delhi
Transfer to airport to board flight to onward destination.
